Leaders are the role models who inspire the followers and motivate them to reach the target of success. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body S.S.P.M. Day School and Jr. College formed the Student Council. Bearers of the Student Council were formally vested with the power and position for the academic year 2018-2019.
The event began with school prayer. Hon. Principal, Supervisor and House Masters handed over the badges to the Head Boy, Head Girl, Head Prefect, Prefects, Vice-Prefects, Jr. Prefects and Activity Prefects who were eagerly waiting to take up their duties. This was followed by oath taking ceremony of the Student Council who took the pledge of just decisions, good management skills and impartiality while discharging their duties. Students of Std. V to XII witnessed this grand occasion with joy and fervor. Head Girl expressed her views through her speech.
Principal, Ms. Jagtap guided the students by her inspiring words and urged them to do their best for the school. The function concluded with the national anthem.
