Awareness of E-waste Disposal
With a focus on creating awareness about disposal of E-waste material, the activity of PPT presentation along with actual disposal of it by Mrs. Supriya Hiraskar was arranged in S.S.P.M. day school and junior college on 21st March for Std XI.
Electronic waste or e-waste describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics which are destined for reuse, resale, salvage, recycling, or disposal are also considered e-waste. Informal processing of E-waste in developing countries can lead to adverse human health effects and environmental pollution.
The objective of conducting the disposal of E-waste Awareness was to create consciousness of general environmental & health issues among the people due to increasing amount of E-waste material.
During the presentation, teacher discussed ideas which are helpful to create an awareness among the students and in the society towards scientific ways of E-waste disposal.
