For the first time the school had organized Inter-House English Declamation Competition for Sr.group on 8th July 2016 at S.S.P.M. Day School & Jr. College .
Declamation is the term used to describe the re-giving of an important or famous speech .The speaker re-interprets the original, reproducing its power a fresh .The goal of declamation is to convey a message with clarity ,emotion and persuasiveness .Keeping this in view the competition was held wherein 2 participants representing each house delivered a speech. The topic for the competition was ‘ Speeches by great leaders .The participants put in their best foot forward such competitions not only give confidence and encouragement to the speaker but also serve as source of inspiration for the others.
