‘Kolhapur Carnival 2017’ was organized by Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya, Kolhapur on 9th and 10th Dec 2017. The Carnival is organized every year to provide opportunity to the students of different schools to showcase their talents.
A team of 19 students and 5 staff members, Mrs. Vaishali Pophale, Mrs. Rupal I Raut,
Mrs. Renuka Khatmode and Mr. Abhang. Non-Teaching staff member Mr. Vinod Thakar represented S.S.P.M. Day School Jr. College for this event. The team left for Kolhapur on 8th Dec 2017. On 9th Dec carnival was inaugurated by Miss Anja Palusevic, followed by various activities for 2 days. S.S.P.M. Day School and Jr. College participated in various events on both days and also won prizes.
His highness Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur, Shri Maloji Raje Chhatrapati and other esteemed dignitaries were present on the occasion. The winners of different events were awarded with trophies. It was a wonderful experience for the students. The team of students and staff members returned on 11th December 2017.
