Vachan Prerna Din was observed on 15thOctober 2016 by all the Shivajians, to mark the birth anniversary of former President and Missile Man of India , Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam .
Students were informed to bring books(story books, autobiography, biography, science fiction, travelogues etc) for reading in the class in order to inculcate reading habits in them. After reading, students shared the content of the books with each other . They also shared their experience of what they felt about this activity. Students were instructed to give books as birthday gift to their friends and relatives.
‘Vachan Prerna Din ‘ brought’ Joy of Reading’ amongst the students.
