Blood is the vital fluid of our body. It is often lost during emergencies and surgeries and is required in large amounts by patients suffering from thalsemia. Thus, donation of blood is the prime need of our country.
Blood Donor Day is celebrated on 14th June to raise awareness about safe blood donation. Students of SSPM Day School and Junior College, Koli Shreya, Deepali Gaikwad, Meezan Shaikh and Ankit Jadhav presented a Power Point presentation through which they explained the importance and the need of blood donation and requested their friends to donate the lifesaving gift of blood. Student realized the importance of blood donation.
