To spread awareness amongst students about Dr. Salim Ali , one of the greatest ornithologist and naturalists a session was arranged on 20th June 2019.
Dr. Salim Ali was one of the first scientists to carry out systematic bird surveys in India and abroad. His research work is considered as highly influential in the development of ornithology. The students of std.XII prepared a power point presentation on Dr. Salim Ali. They highlighted Dr.Salim Ali’s education, contribution and early life,importance of birds in our environment and also they presented a documentary on life of Dr. Salim Ali.
Principal Miss. Shivali Jagtap was present for the PPT and guided the students to collect more information and prepare PPT about extinct birds and the ways to protect them.
