World Blood Donor’s Day is celebrated on 14th June every year. Different types Blood groups were discovered by Karl Landsteiner.
Birthday of Karl Landsteiner is 14th June which is celebrated as Blood Donor’s day all over the world to honour Karl Landsteiner.
On the occasion of Blood Donor’s Day, a Power Point Presentation was prepared by the students of std XB Chinmay Kumar,Kranti Shelke and Nikita Choudhary. The objective was to create an awareness among students about blood donation.
In the Power Point Presentation students were explained about functions of blood and its importance in our body, constituents of blood.
The students were informed about different blood groups,discovered by Karl Landsteiner. Students were also informed about importance of matching blood groups.
In the Power Point Presentation students were informed about difference between requirement and collection of blood. Importance of blood donation, conditions required for blood donation and some facts regarding blood donation with help of slides and videos.
It was an effort to create awareness among the students about blood donation.
