Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. The International Yoga day is celebrated every year on 21st June to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the world.
To spread the benefits of Yoga 5th International Yoga Day was celebrated in SSPM Day School & Jr. College. Students of Std XII presented Power Point Presentation on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Through PPT they explained necessary information about Yoga such as History of Yoga, different types of Yoga and its benefits. In busy life of students it is impossible to do different Asanas on regular basis, so through PPT students gave information about very simple and easy Asan i.e Meditation, steps of Meditation and its benefits. The PPT concluded with the video of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s view on International Yoga Day.At the end students were asked to do Meditation in each class to refresh, relax the body and mind.
