New entrants are the strangers to their organisation. They may feel insecure, shy and nervous. The first few days may be all anxious and disturbing ones. Therefore induction programme was organised on 18th August 2017 by SSPM Day School and Junior College to bind the new comers and the present students.
Students of std XII were excited to welcome the new faces. They decorated the IOIT hall with the garlands of marigold flowers.
Principal Miss. Shivali Jagtap inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp. Soon after inauguration the programme started with introduction. It was a fun filled event at which the freshers got the opportunity not only to showcase their talents but also to interact with their seniors. They participated enthusiastically in the games like musical arms, coffee shots and make the mummy and also enjoyed the entertainment programmes put up by their seniors.
Based on the performances, confidence and communication skill Master and Miss freshers were selected and awarded.
Principal Miss. Shivali Jagtap handed over the badges to the Class Representatives of respective classes. Principal in her speech acquainted the students about the facilities in the college and wished them best luck for their future.
The programme helped the students to adapt to transition and ended leaving behind the sweet memories. It also helped to integrate the new students into the organisation. The programme ended with the vote of thanks.
