The ‘International Tiger’s Day’, is celebrated on 29th July every year. In order to create awareness among the students about saving the endangered species of tiger, the school had organised a series of activities for the students of Std- V to VIII revolving around the theme of ‘Save Tigers’. A Drawing Competition for Std-V and VI, Slogan writing competition for Std-VII and Mask making competition for Std-VIII were held in the school. The students showcased their creativity and dedication through their art to spread awareness about the ‘Global Tiger’s Day’.
A PowerPoint presentation on International Tiger’s Day imparting information on the need of saving tigers, their role in eco-system and videos enhancing the cause of saving tigers were shown to the students of Std- V and VI. The students were moved to see the plight of tigers and pledged to play their part in saving this beautiful wild creature.
The students thus were motivated to play an important part in saving the national animal of India.
