Science is an effective tool of social transformation. It has revolutionized our way of life. With the key objective of bringing out the hidden talents of the students and with a focus on creating more awareness about science and technology. S.S.P.M Day School & Jr.College organized science exhibition on 15 sept. 2017.
The wonderful day started with lots of excitement & enthusiasm. The entire school was abuzz with activity. HOD. Electronic dept. of IOIT college Dr. Shedge inaugurated the function by cutting the ribbon. Principal Ms. Shivali Jagtap was present on the occasion. The headboy Krishna Nagarkar and the head girl Shivani Gawde presented a medicinal plant to the chief guest as per the school tradition. Young Shivajians in the attire of scientist welcomed the guests. Students from 5th to 12th displayed innovative working models like ‘Solar car, Automatic street lights, Robot, Analog to digital converter, Web page designing, etc.
The chief guest took keen interest while observing the projects and interacted with the students who exuded confidence while explaining the various projects to him. The chief guest appreciated the creativity and problem solving skills of the students.
The exhibition was a huge success. Enthusiasm and effervescence overflowed among the students and left a mark in the memory.
The chief guest evaluated the projects and congratulated the participants. Following students were awarded certificates.
