“Guru Purnima” is one such day when the Guru or the teacher is worshiped for the work they have done.
The students of SSPM Day School & Jr. College organized different programs on this auspicious day. The program began by welcoming the Principal, Supervisor and all other teachers. It was followed by the lightening of the lamp. The Head Girl expressed her views through a song dedicated to Guru. Girls from commerce section presented a group song. After this song skit was arranged by students of XII standard telling importance of Teachers in our life.
Hindi elocution competition on the topic ”Aaj ki Shikshan Pranali Main Shikshak Ka Mahatva” was held after the skit. Students actively participated in the competition. After the announcement of result of the competition, the Principal addressed the students with her inspiring words on this occasion. The program concluded with vote of thanks by the Head boy.
