Blood Donor’s Day is celebrated on 14th June every year. On the occasion of blood donor’s day, a Power Point Presentation activity had conducted for std X students by Mrs. Vaishali Pophale. The objective was to create an awareness among students about blood donation.
In the Power Point Presentation students were explained about the constituents of blood, functions of blood and its importance in our body.
Students were informed about different blood groups. Blood groups were discovered by Karl Landsteiner. 14th June is celebrated as Blood Donor’s day all over the world to honour Karl Landsteiner.
In this Power Point Presentation students were informed about the huge difference between requirement and collection of blood. Importance of blood donation, conditions required for blood donation and some facts regarding blood donation with help of slides and videos.
It was a small effort by teachers to create an awareness among the students about blood donation.
