S.S.P.M. day school & Jr. College students were invited to participate in the times NIE quizzomania2018-19, an interschool quiz contest .The contest was organised by The Times of India in association with VIT, Bhopal. The theme of the quiz was ‘Maths and Science’. The aim of the quiz competition was to unravel the ‘Wonders of Science & the Magic of Maths’
Two teams from HSC section of our college had participated in the quiz competition .Ninety two teams had participated in the competition from all colleges and schools of Pune district. Based on Science and Maths, a written test of 25 questions was taken in the 1st round .Six teams were selected after 1st round for stage competition .Competition was really inspiring for the curious minds & to pursue STEM based higher education.
Participants were awarded with participation certificates. Following students participated in the competition.
